I first met David when he worked for the Coro Foundation an I was a fellow... and he doodled in his book, then on the board at our meetings. He has taught me so much as he has grown his work.
It would be great fun to host an interactive panel on some topic like "Visualizing It" at a conference, featurin David,
Dan Roam (The Back of the Napkin) and
Lee LeFever (CommonCraft)

Kare,
I enjoyed your interview style with David and how you guided the conversation to interesting topics. It must have been fun working at the Foundation with David.
And I think you're idea about a "Visualize It" panel is a winning idea. David had an insightful blog post about the book Serious Play by Michael Schrage that I link to. I think David made the connection that his drawings are really prototypes, and help employees experience their strategy to a degree.
There's a lot of converging factors in visualization.
